to kindness.

It begins with love. Then it hurts terribly. Whoever keeps kindness and dignity through it keeps the chance that it ends with love. Intact.

The thread.

Love, pain, kindness and dignity, love. This movement connects the stories, places and encounters of the book. The personal texts grow out of my own experiences. Not all of it belongs in public.

The first finds.

Vienna is the beginning. A corner grocer in 1070, a bar in 1100 and a Portuguese restaurant in 1050. Three places that have to do with love in very different ways.

It doesn’t get more loving than this.

That is how my evening at Senhor Vinho ends, with the serradura made by the mother of the house. A dessert as a happy ending.
